AIMS: Achieving Social Change, Improving engagement, Measuring outcomes, Securing our Futures
WHY Sports are a passionate team who through a series of live events and associated online resource, seek to ensure all government policy related to sport and activity is disseminated to key delivery agents, wider stakeholders and interested parties.
It is our hope that through improved communication and continuous engagement we can ensure increases in activity and sports participation are achieved, measured and continually improved.
We are the leading socially focused conference and policy communications provider in the UK.
This unique position in terms of our socially focused reinvestment model enables us to partner with key delivery agents locally and globally working alongside communities providing a range of opportunities and positioning physical activity and sport as a key contributor to economic growth and population health improvements.
To date the impact of sport in the UK beyond simply the number of people participating or the number of medals won, has been unable to validate measurable, observable outcomes on society.
This has led in some cases to situations where organisations have become discouraged from engaging with those who would benefit most from the value of sport and regular exercise.
One notable change for the future is how sport is going to be funded. It is no longer merely about how many people take part, but rather how sport can have a meaningful and measurable impact on improving people’s lives.
Why Sports welcome these changes and aspire to assist where possible every organisation irrespective of size and scale involved in delivering upon these new challenges.
